Hello Monty -

This is an aluminum 1st model Luft manufactured by Richard Seiper and Sohne. There may be an additional marking of the same under the roller bar.

As you have this buckle in hand, any chance of this buckle having some aluminum paint sprayed on it? The photo, from my perspective, indicates the possibility but I am not sure.
