    "White Metal" N.S.B.O.

I think that the quite eclectic variations of the somewhat "poor relation " status NSBO buckles, is always worthy of comment. We all are aware of the brass box group, to include brass, silver washed brass and nickle silver roundels, however there are of course "white metal" types.

    Here are a few.

    Regards,

    David

As usual David you post really interesting variations of buckles that don't have the marketing team associated with the more popular and oft discussed types. I don't recall seeing a white metal version of this type in the wild. Quite interesting. Great information.

                  All the best,

                  Dave

Thanks David for the sharing of these great buckles. I am new to collecting and have not yet come across any of these. Regards Thomas

                      Dave and Thomas

Thankyou for your kind words of appreciation.

Rather like the RAD, I think that the NSBO buckle is often neglected and dismissed by many collectors, however having said that, they are becoming increasing difficult to find. This non RZM and as such "non regulated" buckle has some remarkable variations and is of course now faked.

                      Regards,

                      David

p.s. - Thomas - welcome to the forum.

David, great buckles and great pics, I know these are really hard to find these days, but some day I own one (I hope).

                        greetz,
