This marking could be also found on RLB/DLV buckles, which also not correct!

        Weimar buckles

        Greetings all,
The weird and various buckles of the Weimar period have always fascinated me, so I have a few. Pertaining to this thread, I also have a Weigend & Puschner with "M" over an anchor (not eagle) navy steel buckle with field grey paint; an aluminum two-piece buckle (no tab); brass navy (no tab or markings); and numerous nickel ones of various configurations. I recently missed out on one of the RZM-marked Paulmann & Crone one.

Who said that Weimar buckles where not used by the German army during the war!!!! This picture, dated June 2, 1944 shows the contrary. Enjoy this rare picture.

Here is another interesting 'former' Reichswehr buckle!
                  I think not uninteresting...

                      Slt Marc,

                      What a fantastic photo !!
I always thought that only personnel such as the OT were still wearing ReichWehr buckles that late into the war ...
