Fake or Fantasy? Advice needed on two buckles

Hi folks
These buckels were thrown in as part of a lot I got over the weekend. He thought this might be an old Prussian Hussar buckle. What do you think?
It would be most helpful for my education if you could point out the red flags that make these fakes as I suspect they are.
Many thanks for your help

Regards to my "old" county of Cheshire, England.
In my opinion, the Stahlhelmbund buckle is quite original and actually is a reasonably good example of the most varied type.
As far as the "Totenkopf" buckle is concerned, again and in my opinion - a pure fantasy item (fake), although the one that you have shown has a remarkably good "ageing" look about it.

David
