Is this Belt Army or Political?

I have this leather belt with buckle,I now wonder if this is a Army officers belt or a political belt,its a brown leather belt with golden buckle,leather is about 6 cm wide,there is no markings on belt or buckle.

I believe that this is one of the early, wider-type belts that was authorized for both political and military wear. The gold buckle in this case would seem to indicate political. However, perhaps it was one worn by a General...or by an officer in the KM-Coastal Artillery? Hopefully one of the forum members who knows more about belts will also comment and correct/update my information.

I believe this is a Heer Generals buckle and belt although JW is also correct that this could have been used by NSDAP Political personnel.
