RAD repro or real ???

Hello gents
I am posting this for another memer, I held this buckle today, and here are my thoughts; but I would love to hear your thoughts..
here are the problems I have
1. the back raised circle is not finished well
2. the back finish is not normal for me
3. the prongs are crude and VERY sharp
4. the tabs are very small and seem undersized

I think you are spot on with this one being a repro - the front is not bad but still lacks that quality finish as you have stated. The reverse IMO, is the most distinguishable aspect that yells "REPRO"!

I have to disagree : the buckle looks perfectly legit IMO and do not see any red flag.

I tend to agree that this private purchase or walking out RAD -Koppelschloss is quite original.

Attached are some images of one that is similar, albeit with an "aluminium frosting" that interestingly, cannot be detected on the one that you have posted.
