    SS 36/42 mint

    Hello,
    I get this mint SS buckle with marker 36/42 today. I think it is unworn, but look the pictures.

              It has been worn. Was done for a very short time, enough to leave marks of the rubbing belt catch over the marking.
              Another option is that the buckle was indeed unworn but someone put it on a belt for display purpose and was not careful when attaching / detaching catch to / from buckle. Paint chips on the front could have been from either wear or storage, but most likely short time wear.

                thank your for the nice explanation. I´m a beginning collector with this buckles so I don´t see the little differences like you with your experience. By the way, your threads about SS buckles a very interesting and I really like it to read
