Unknown Buckle???

First, I`d like to wish everyone a happy new year, with plenty of new goodies
Then, I`d appreciate any help on this buckle I dont think its German, but none the less, I`d like to identify it, and determine whether its even a legit buckle???

Hello Dion,

to my knowledge, the buckle was issued to Gendarmerie in Bosnian during the WWI period, but it's not original.
The buckle belongs to a repro serie probably made in Hungary since '90.
