Construction similarities - DJ and SS

It is interesting to note how certain constructional details and features between this clearly marked (Keller) DJ and this unmarked SS are similar.

The catch arrangement is very close, however I think that the pin shroud and claws are exactly the same.

It may of course be coincidence, rather than correlation.

Hi David,
This subject has already been brought. We all know by now that F.Keller was the maker of those buckles with very distinctive postsleeve assembly (oval opening) and particuliar catch. It still surprises me that nobody brought an SA buckle since.
