    EM Belt or HJ

I recently bought a size 80 length EM belt with a width that's 4.2cm or 1 5/8 roughly. I really didn't give the width much thought when I got it. but later I compared it to my other EM belts and got to thinking with the length and width it might be a HJ belt. My question is the DJ/HJ narrower than the standard EM belt?

Never had a D&O maker mark/ clasp on any of my other belts Ive encountered or owned?
    Thanks George

80 cm could be all.. A thick HJ Boy..oder a tall Soldier.. most of the German EM -belts have approx 80-95cm.

But I think it is a Em Belt, because the Marking D&C ( not D&O) is a typical belt hook marking, which were used on Em belthooks

BTW D& C stands for Dransfeld & Companie

Its a well worn belt. The marking on the clasp looking thru loop looks like O and not a C. But with all the wear its probably is D&C as you suggested. The belts I have on hand to compare to are 3 95s and one 100.

Side note I had a HJ Luft Flak helper cap that was a huge size 59! Big headed kid.
