Christian,
Are you referring to the catch on the belt used for Police? Did the the molded catch on the buckle have to be widened for the belt catch to be used? Can you share this regulation with us?
As you know, the only catch that would work with a proper police belt would be the aluminum molded catch or the molded white metal buckle. A two piece buckle would not work with a Police belt because of the half-moon catch.

Christian,
Thanks for clarifying. Here is a photo of a '37 Dransfeld catch from a WP and '42 CTD. I can't see much of a difference in this catch but if you look closely at the left side of the D&C catch it does look like it was worked on a little bit.. This '37 catch does fit the belt catch of a police belt.Attached Files

Dan and Kirby, excellent piles of police buckles you have! Very glad to see others find these just as addicitive! I'm really after the different makers markes and there are really a lot of them to find. So Dan, I really like that Paul Cramer example, that is one I've not been able to add. Unfortunately, no LaPo in my collection, I'm not been one to pay the price...yet.

thought I was going to have an extra Wiedmann, although the find the maker marks were different sizes...really something small to justify keeping both for now!Attached FilesInterested in the Gendarmerie - Schutzpolizei - Gemeinden - Feuerschutzpolizei - Wasserschutzpolizei - Etc.
