2 Heer buckles with strange colour

Hello,
I've two buckles in my collection which were neither blue nor green
it seems they are dark-brown.
On the left above you see the green on the right below a blue one

on the right above and on the left below, you can see clearly, that they have a very dark colour1.
Have you also such kind of buckles?
The right above is a Gustav Brehmer dated 1941 and the left below is a Ernst Schneider Lüdenscheid dated 1943 <o></o><o></o>

Hello Ingo,

I have an original set with buckle having the same dark finish under few traces left of green paint : it could be a factory finishing (like primer) to prevent buckle from rust IMO.

Hi Ingo, how dark are we talking? These are very dark green, do they compare at all?

No Ben.. they are neither blue nor green
It's really dark brown.. not a single trace of blue-darkblue or any kind of green..
That's what Ric wrote, sounds good..
