The fake often also with the marker Assmann is stamped.

may the forum please have 2 more pictures of the buckle
1. a close up of the eagle and wings fro directly above
2. a picture of the buckle under the prong bar
this buckle design with a crank catch and marked A A&S ges gesch RZM 17 is a known repro , but there are also period buckles with a similar design.
