Although "Wehrmacht" buckles are not my forte, your buckle looks like a perfectly sound 1935/1936 period private purchase Army.

Christian, Angolia mentions these in his book on buckles. Here is what he says: "The eagle on the early specimen buckles faced to the viewer's right, but for some unexplained reason early in 1936 the buckle appeared with the eagle facing left. In March 1936 new regulations concerning the Reichsadler (national eagle) were introduced and in 1937 the eagle returned to the form looking right." Hi,
I'm just wondering, you LIVE in Germany and you ask this?
No these buckles are not rare and not so expensive (in Germany), you can have one with nice belt for approximately 150 €.
I have the very same one as yours and that's the price I payed (with Ausgehkoppel) 6 months ago.
            Hope it helps...
            Cheers
            Teka

I am confused: what does his living in Germany have to do with anything? Just because he is German does not mean he knows everything about every single aspect of German militaria.
I am not a buckle collector, so I dont know how rare these are (but you'd think that if they were only produced for a year, they would be rare), but your example price of 150 Euro is actually expensive compared to regular buckles: you can still get a nice regular Heer belt with buckle for $80-90 or slightly more.

                Hi Vadim,
I don't want to offense anybody.
But how can you compare these buckles with the regular one? It's like to compare EK and EK rounded. Both aren't rare but the price is different...
                Best regards
                Teka
