SS Buckle leather tab question

Sergey has posted a nice looking SS buckle on the e-stand. It has a leather tab attached. I thought I had read in an old thread that SS buckles never came with a leather tab. Does anyone know anything about this?

I usually have a pretty good memory and when I saw the buckle it just reminds me the one saw there

Since the picture is no longer available (except in my memory) points of interest are:
- There is not a single steel SS EM Unmarked made by Overhoff which is known green painted from factory - Everything can happen but odds are slim, especially in mint condition and coming from Russia
- You can see on the photo light passing thru empty stitching holes (far end of tab), which means the tab was added later since the well worn tab condition does not match the mint buckle condition
- If interested, at least the main body of the buckle remains original (raw steel).
