    KM pebbled on e-stand

    Hello Gaustater,

I believe a free debate may clear some doubts still on the field.
I personally agree with the opinions posted : the buckle appears a standard Army gold overspraied and in few areas the original field green is still visible .
I did take the liberty of posting your pics edited by red lines to better show such areas. Red arrows indicate traces.........of gold paint ?

Of course any further contribution is appreciated.

    Regards

    Ric

By the obverse traces of the original field green are still visible in the recesses of some pebbled areas.

That's not the golden color which were used on buttons, insignias, buckles,
that's a gold color from a spraying tin of a DIY shop..

Indeed a standard Alu Heer buckle which has been oversprayed!
