Belts & Buckles break them up?

I am working on organizing my collection. Along with a a bunch of buckles I have several belt/buckle combinations. For space reasons I find the belts somewhat of a pain, but like the buckles. Is it a sin to break them up, or is that considred ok? Here are some examples. I must admit the early luft with what I think is a early belt is very attractive....

I believe it is a collectors personal opinion on how to display but I am always for keeping belt and buckle together. Granted, it is easier to display just the buckle and for what it's worth I collect both.

Wolfgang i always keep sets together & never split them up if i buy a buckle then i always on the hunt for a belt to match up to make a nice set..... it all depends on what you want just buckles or sets but like Dan i collect both....regards scott.
