    Question about SS buckles

    I have a problem. I want to buy a SS buckle but I don`t know if it is original. What are signs that buckle is real ?
    Weight?
    Colour?
    Special things which are always different than real?

    It is too hard to give you a quick answer for this question.Fake ss buckles range from the very good (with points that only an expert collector will know or identify) to the very bad.Fakes come unmarked and also with makers marks.

    One characteristic that is indicitive of fakes are buckles with the prongs cut at 45degs.

    My suggestion is get pics of any potential purchases,post them on here for opinions.Also use the search engine as there are many threads containing example of real and bogus buckles.
