the LW buckle is 100 % original and probably made by Maedicke in Berlin, although unmarked.

Funny you should mention that Ric, I was going to suggest Gustav Genschow as they are also very similar to this eagle, I wonder if these had also anything to do with the Maedicke/Motz relationship? I believe Maedicke and Motz did offer the exact same buckle and Genschow was simply a reseller of those makers.
