After war DRK buckle

Hello collectors!

I think everybody knows the two piece aluminium buckles "Gott mit Uns" with the state symbol in the center. Used by the German police after the war.

Who knows this variant with the cross in the center??
Is it common?

Where are you coming up with these variations. Never have seen this one either. Probably correct that it is post war but would also like to see the back to be sure.Is it aluminum or steel? one piece or two?

Hello Bill,

the buckle is an aluminium two piece construction. I stronlgy believe these kind of buckles were only made after the war.

What surprise me is, that this buckle with the cross in the center is much harder to find than the buckle with the state symbol?!
