I agree that the SS buckle David posted exhibits all of the characteristics of this maker!!! I love being able to put a name on unmarked buckles!! it is the hunt and the research that I love so much... icing on the cake when we can figure stuff like this out!! great job guys..Chad

Indeed and Thank You again! It is now six years I am asking collectors of SA and HJ buckles to look for this oval opening (which is die cut) on their buckles and just one collector did it (without any luck unfortunately). But as you pointed out, even HJ buckles made by this maker are not common, so it could explain this lack of success ... until now!
      Good job!!

A really super example of "research and result".

Thankyou and congratulations to all who have contributed and especially to Chad, who of course was the instigator and catalyst.

Chad - I forget to earlier mention that I do like the quite specific design of your Fritz Keller HJ's. In particular, the very distinct swastikas.

        Regards,

        David

        p.s. - Chad - more HJ's please !!

...and we can now double confirm that Angolia was wrong on page 201 of his latest book. We knew the tag was not for this buckle, we now definitively know the buckle was not Overhoff's neither!
