1938 VA-SS belt

I've owned this belt set for sometime. It was one of the first items I bought years ago, merely as a run-of-the-mill bit of Heer kit.

It was only when I researched the markings that I realised it was, in fact, a pre-war SS belt, with a regular Heer aluminum buckle attached to it.

I've since thinned out my collection of my Heer pieces and this is the last one. I'm intending to sell it (mods, please note this isn't an advert...) but need an idea of value for the set sold together.

I'd really appreciate a guide price, should anyone have an idea.

Yeah, I have considered selling them separately, but they came from the vet directly (he literally pulled them off the guy who was wearing them) so it seems a shame to split it unnecessarily.

I can't see any markings on the inside of the buckle - it's quite grimy. Even the outside is covered in mud from when it was captured. I daresay I could find them after a clean, but I'd sooner leave it as is.

I think that if the set came from the vet together that it should be sold together and the new owner can decide if he wants to separate them (which would be a shame IMO).
