            Xav, in my eyes you have there a very typical Aurich Lufte buckle and a very nice one at that the catch and ears on this buckle are typical for Aurich, compare the ears of yours to my Heer one, long and slender, I like this buckle

                  WOW - what a cutie !

                  I have a Wehrmacht Heer buckle, nearly with the same paint, which looks black to me.
                  Are those for the Afrika Korps / tropical use ?
