I owe you a sincere apology for suggesting that your buckle was a cast fake. Obviously Vlad, Ric and yourself thought not so, although as you know, certain detail to the pin shroud had me wondering. I respect the opinion of all who have contributed, although I still showed your images to a chum of mine who is an analyst within one worlds largest aluminium smelters ( Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C aka ALBA ), located in Bahrain where I live.

Your buckle is die stamped (original) and not cast (fake) !

Hello David,

no need to apologize,I really appreciated the discussion here on my buckle, because there is always something to learn and fakers become smarter everyday and we , as collectors, can never lower our guard. usually I follow my instinct when I have to evaluate a buckle but I am really interested in a more technological approach. Thanks Adam, iw as worried about the Ges.Gesch.1 mark and to me it looks almost the same as the fake ones i've seen on the WAF.
