next is another lufty with a very think black belt (outside) brown (inside). The tab says j c maedicke berlin 1941. The belt has a date of 1942. There is surface rust on all of these buckles. Ive decided not to mess with them in case i ever decide to sell

            Hello,

nice worn buckles! The first is from the maker Richard Sieper & Söhne -Lüdenscheid and the second from Ernst Schneider- Lüdenscheid.

            Best regards,

            Sascha

again, any comments would be appreciated They are in pretty good shape a little surface rust, but that is about it. i havent cleaned them yet. I have done a litte research and it seems that i should leave these the way i found them? The leather is quite stiff should i leave it alone?
                thanks,
                chris

I'd say they are run of the mill....they are a little more "salty" than most of the buckles we see on here. Nonetheless - they are real and that is always good!
Nothing rare - but all legit!

                        Cheers!

Not rare, but nice orginial examples! these earlier SA buckles are usually unmarked, and they stay in great condition as they are made of better materials (brass vs. iron or alu).
