WW1 Austrian 2-piece buckle with unusual attachment

Hi guys, I was wondering is anyone saw this type of attachment with Z device before? For that matter, any information on 2-piece Austrian buckles? All the Austrian buckles I have seen so far were stamped. Thanks!

I have not study these buckles in dept so I am not an expert on these but this type of assembly is typical for these Austo-Hungarian buckles but are also widely faked. The one you send the picture of is not very convincing. I have a few in my collection, (for more than 20 years) and the quality is much better.

Thanks for your reply, Marc. The buckle actually looks better in real life, this is just a bad scan.
