How it looks it is hard to say ... Several collectors will look at the shape it has now and will discard it as a reproduction. But there is also originals which are found like this. This happened when the brocade either had been dipped in water, either stayed stored in a very humid environement. In fact any condition which was strong enough to moist and so later distord the inside cardboard forever.
You could also show details of the inside, details of slides, stitching ...
But no matter what a strict 100% positive call will remain with handling it, not just seeing it on photos.

* Slides are coming from 2 different brocades (fakes or originals?)
* Keeper has been replaced or brocade has been reworked (not nice job)

JPR - thanks for your observations - one question relative to the slides, I take it you indicate that they are from different belts because of the texture of the backing compared to the belt??It is the same material but does reflect a slight tone difference as best as I can see.

At least one for sure does not belong to the belt. If light / photo is of concern, the remaining other could be appropriate. But guaranteed not both.
