    MINT 1938 Water Police Buckle

    Hello,

    I just aquired this very MINTY 1938 Assmann Water Police buckle today. The pictures just don't do the finish on this one justice. The gold finish is the brighest I've ever encountered and appears to be flawless. Unfortunately the buckle is unmarked, but I can live with that....at least for a short time.

                      Super Water Police buckle. Just an FYI, every Assmann buckle w/leather tabs I have encountered are not marked on the buckle.

                              Thanks for the kind words. In fact, I was comparing yours to mine. The mark escapes me for now, but I think ours even share the same die flaw/mark.

                              Maybe you and Ric can post pictures of your buckles here for comparision.
