    Fake buckle, real belt??

This buckle was given to me by a friend 20 years ago who was impressed by my small collection of German stuff. He said "I have an old belt my grandfather brought back from WW2 you can have". I, of course, said yes! As an avid SS buff, I was stunned when he gave me this belt and buckle. With my limited knowledge, it looks original and is signed Manfred Muller on the inside. The buckle is stamped with the RZM circle, the SS in a diamond and the letters OL1/62637. There is a little rust on the inside and it appears rather worn on the face of the buckle. Any ideas on authenticity? I have been told it's a fake buckle, and potentially a real belt, although not a combat belt, but rather a parade belt. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Buckle is a well known fake originating long ago out of England. The buckle has a chance of being good but unable to tell from the photos. Sorry!

Thanks for all the info guys. Unfortunately I suspected the SS in the diamond, but I had hoped it was original. I've been carrying it around for 23 years as one of my cherished possessions and it's bogus. Oh well, someday I'll have a real one..
