    About the buckle I think the same : die quality and way of construction do not correspond to any original pre May 1945, so .

      Well M4/24 is Friedrich Linden and not Paulmann & Crone, he is M4/28 so I think that should give you your answer

        Yes...I have to agree...I don't like this one. First time I see this kind of reproduction though...they missed the boat with the maker and the M4 designation - at least that's going to make it easy for us!

          Judging the material these fakes are on the market quite a time.
          You can encounter these marks on more hopeless buckles.

          Watch this one, you gotta love those left lined tallons.
          It looks like the bird is doing the twist!
