    Luftwaffe Belt Buckle

So i just got this in a large lot of items and I was hoping to get some opinions. If it's bad no worries I've already gotten my initial investment back and this is an extra.

    Thanks
    Kenneth

        Reitz factory?

Is that not a Belgian Reitz-made buckle? Quite unusual if it is.

Not 100% sure but I agree with Kevin, looks like a Reitz made buckle, that big rivet is quite distinct

                hi

I think I'm going to get rid of this one and I was wondering what a good price would be to ask for?

                      Hi

So I've had a couple of offers for the belt buckle but none of them had a price. If someone could give me an idea on value maybe I will let this one go.

                      Thanks
                      Kenneth

                        Typical

So I've had many emails in the last few days and most have offered me 150 but the thing is all of the people who offered me 150 avoided commenting on this thread with a price. I did some research on my own and I would like to say thank you to the one person who PM'd me with an honest price.

                        Thanks

                          Kenneth,

this is a discussion Forum, not a commercial tool : if you have received by PM/email many offers I'm sure you will be able to decide by yourself.

                            Offer on buckle

The value of this buckle is not more or less than the value of a regular LW buckle without leather tab.
If you check websites like Weitze, Niemann, Collectors guild, you will rarely find a LW buckle for more than 100 eur. So I suppose the 150 you were offered was in USD
Personally I'd value this around 80 eur
As you see on my website, I have seen all of these Belgian made ones. The rarest being the Reitz buckle and the collaboration buckles. The regular German buckles are...."regular". Only the maker makes them somewhat special.
Many collectors avoid these buckles because they are not so detailed and fine finished as their German counterparts.
It is a matter of taste of course !
I like them because they were made near where I live...
So if it is still not sold...
you heard my offer : open and wide, I have nothing to hide

                              Kenneth,

Could you post what the "honest" price is? I have not contacted you publicly or privately but if I have to venture a guess as to value, I'd agree with the $150 range. I'm not making an offer though because this buckle doesn't appeal to me but I'd still like to know what you were told was its true value.
