    Good Start to 2008

Hi all, had a couple of buckles arrive to add to the Heer collective, two makers that I did not have, first up a very nice Aluminium buckle by Gbr Gloerfeld, dated 1938 (they all seem to be) and in very good condition. I just love the adlers head on these, very moody expression

great condition on those babies.....that's the bonus - not just that you didn't have these makers but that you were able to find two nice ones!

JP I have seen them with leather tabs, thats where I got the correct name for the maker from, it is wrong in the Nash book.

Sadly Ric, I am coming to a bit of a stalemate in my collecting at the moment. As regards to known makers there are five more buckles for me to collect then all I can do is upgrade what I have until I stumble upon makers that I have not seen before or early Heer conversions but still it is fun trying to find them

                              Ben,

to build a large and specialized collection cost many years and obviously a lot of money : don't let the project go

                              Good hunting
