SS EM 36/38 Belt and Buckle

    Guys:

I posted this buckle not long ago and thanks to all who helped me with it. The following pics show the belt that came with the buckle when I bought it. I have no idea if they have been together "forever" but this is how it came to me. The belt has no markings except for 78.

Is the belt the correct belt for this buckle?

    Thanks for the help.

    Best,

    Larry F.

If the belt is not RZM/SS or VA/SS marked, no the belt and buckle have not been together since forever, or at least there was a change down the road. Sets been unchanged from the very 1938 beginning should be with belt rzm/ss or va/ss marked. But many sets brought home from vets were re-associated during the war years. At this time, sets were made with whatever available, especially after Feb 1943.
