Hello Tom,

be warning : someone did a great job to fool collectors.

The web tab is original, but the buckle is a well known fake with a very convincing tarn paint

Since the tab stitching looks period done, probably the faker replaced the whole post prongs assembly with original tab.

I directly noticed this fake buckle on the website update, because I am usually interested in such buckle.
I notified the seller. He is very unlike to sell fakes. Should have been fooled himself...

I agree with Simon : that dealer has usually original stuff and probably he didn't pay enough attention to that set.
