    copper not Brass?
For now I believe it is copper (but I am poor in metalurgy ...). I would say base in copper, then a coat of nickel (yellow in color), then a coat of shiny silver. Reminds me the old car bumpers: steel, then nickel, then chrome (since chrome can not adhere to steel).

      Hello J.P
You have to be a alchemist to find it out.
      or
      make a cut
      dont do this

I guess it is like the old bumpers steel, brass works as
      adhesive to / for chrome.
