OLC SS officers buckle found near Berlin

Hello and here is my latest ground dug buckle.
Found two weeks ago near Berlin.

At first you see the more than salty condition when it was "born" again after 62 years.







Than after 2hours working with some chemicals




here again a few hours later..

and here is the result..
OK it's not a new one..but I think it is still worth to collect and it's a piece of history too.

You are indeed correct since those very late Overhoff are, for the most part, found in this condition. I own two: same as your and still waiting to get one nicer!
