these merged images are posted on behalf of an Italian fellow collector and he wants to know if the buckle is orginal.

Any opinions are welcome!

this 36/39 is IMHO ok.
But it is a ground dug in my "eyes".

Of course it's a ground dug...but I'm not the man, who aks for this buckle..That's Guido..

Ric, that's the reason why I have posted it here. Ground dug pieces are hard to judge, because of the corrosion marks, wich looks quite similar to marks due to a casting process.

The owner confirmed, that the buckle measures 6,5 x 4,8 cm

So he does not have to worry ... Exact measurement is 6.476 x 4.834 cm
