SS buckle

Finally dug into one of the trunks where some of my stuff was packed. This is the first german buckle I ever got......that was about a little over 50 years ago.
Can you tell who the maker was? It saw use, as opposed to laying in a supply bin somewhere.

Actually there was no price, the vet gave it to me. A lot of the things I got from vets were given to me.
