    Nickel NSKK for review please

    Hello,

I'm thinking of adding this one into the collection. It appears to be a beauty of an early NSKK in nickel. Having said that I'm still learning so if you buckle folks would give your opinions I would appreciate it very much. Thanks in advance.

    Regards to all,
    Stu

            Maker

As with most of my SA buckles I am unable to find any maker mark on this one so if someone has an idea I would appreciate finding that out as well.

            Thanks,
            Stu

              Hello Stu,

I agree with you : a very nice SA buckle

In spite of the lack of maker marking (it's usual on such buckles) I would say an Overhoff manufacture.

              Best

I agree with Ric that you have shown here, a super example of a nickle on brass SA. A very distinctive and well known style of eagle which strongly suggests that the buckle was made by Overhoff und Cie.

                Regards,

                David

                  Hi guys,
the one I have, looks almost the same. The eagles head is slightly different. Mine has the marking RZM M4/27, so I would agree, it could be an Overhoff. By the way - very nice one ! cheers Norton

Sorry for the late reply Stu....super buckle man! Nothing wrong with that one! I concur: OLC buckle given the prong cut. Great buckle to add to the collection!

                        Cheers!
