    RZM evidence

    To All,

Latest litterature on the subject suggests RZM "M4/107 through M4/121 contract code numbers were issued between 1939 and 1944".
Does anyone can bring evidence for this? By evidence I mean reliable German documentation from period.

    TIA
    Jean Pierre Redeuilh

    Hello All,
    <O</O
I own the original RZM monthly updates to the official 1935 RZM reference book. ( in 1935 there where 50 M4 numbers in use)
These updates, generally about 10 pages each month; publish ALL the new RZM numbers attributed to a company and also the retraction of such number.
These updates also publish the update in regulations and prices for RZM material.

    <O</O
    For example,
The publication of October 5, 1940 says that a SS EM buckle with belt has to be sold 5.30 Reich mark. An officer buckle and belt 6.35 RM

    <O</O
    <O</O
    As for the RZM M4 numbers given and taken away;
I give some example over the years:
    <O</O

    Year 8, January 4, 1941
    <O</O

    Belt buckles<O</O
M4/66 Stimming & menzlaff. City Ultenburg. RZM number RETRACTED on 27 December 1940
    <O</O
    </O
    Year 9, July 11, 1942
    <O</O

    Section metal
    <O</O

    Enamel plates

M3/177 attributed to Langcat NV city Bussum (Netherlands)
    <O</O

    Belt buckles<O</O
M4/117 attributed to Aurich. City leipe (Germany / Westfalen)
    <O</O

    Uniform insignias metal

M5/330 attributed to Aurich. City leipe (Germany / Westfalen)
    <O</O
    <O</O

    Year 9, October 24, 1942<O</O

    Section metal
    <O</O

    Belt buckles<O</O
M4/119 attributed to Eugen Schmiedhausler. City Pforzheim. (Germany)
M4/120 attributed to Karl Hensler. Metallwarenfabrik. City Pforzheim. (Germany)
    <O</O

So YES, the numbers M4/107 through M4/121 where issued between 1939 and 1944. I’m only more precise with exact dates between 1939 and 1942 <O</O
    <O</O
    <O</O
    <O</O
    <O</O

PS, as a bonus I also give a little present… it is close to Christmas…. A drawing of the SS buckle with ROTATING swastika was published in 1934 ……
    <O</O

And the volunteer SS cuff titles such as the Wallonie where issued end 1944…. So INPOSIBLE to exist in “rzm” material but only in flatwire or Bevo….

Thank You Marc for this! So with all those documents, you should be able to confirm without a doubt M4/112 (to be more precise) was attributed to (?) from (?) after 1939 (exact date does not really matters as long it is after 1939)?

      TIA

For my own the scanned documents are not needed for now. Just the requested information if it is possible.
