Rick, it has everything including nickel D-rings and a nice cross strap. The keepers are very well made. Very nice quality leather. Thank you for your opinion.

Then, I'm sure Forum members would appreciate some pics of the set...if you wish.

                Belt

Jean, do you know an approximate time frame for this belt? The only RZM Hallmark is on the front D ring clip "RZM 5/71". Thank you. There are no marks on the leather.

The buckle was most likely produced before 1934 (even if there is still a possibility their production was extended up to 1936). But they were worn until 1945 (proven fact). Before 1934 those buckles were worn with a high quality maker marked (no RZM/SS contract) leather belt. Then, from 1934 to 1944, should be with a RZM/SS contract marked belt. But we all know how regulations were enforced .... Is the belt keeper/catch in aluminum or nickel silver?

                      Nickel

I believe it to be nickel silver. In my first photo it is closer to how it appears in person. The Buckle and Catch have an identical finish. The rest of the hardware, besides buckle and catch, is magnetic. Thanks for your help.

Indeed in the first photo it looked like NS but just wanted to be sure ...
So, if it is indeed in NS, this belt is absolutely appropriate for such buckle and were probably offered for sale at the same time (no RZM or RZM/SS contract marked belt and no RZM or RZM/SS contract marked buckle). Furthermore NS use was forbidden for manufacturing many goods (including belt buckles and fittings) by 1935 and enforced by 1936. Since the D ring for cross strap is RZM marked with final coding, most likely everything was purchased around 1934 / 35 when former and new supplies were still widely available.
