DAF buckle,original?

I am posting this buckle for someone I know,I would like to know if it's original,the pics are not very good,but I have no other for now.

Hello Jeremy,

hard to tell by those pics, but I would say a good one.
If you will be able to show better pics, I may confirm it.
Btw, it's not a DAF buckle but a RAD one

I agree with Ric...looks like I can make the date out on the reverse (36) there should also be a maker mark on the left hand side of that year.

Yes there is a MM next to the date.

It weighs not much,is it aluminum?

Indeed, the buckle is alu made by Assmann.
