      sweezz,

I personally believe the leather tab is original and probably belonging to the buckle, but on the marked side (of the tab) the stitching appears very clean in spite of a darkened leather all around it....(see edited pic)
I would like to hear seller opinion and of course fellows comment

I also believe that the tab is original and I have e-mailed the seller to find out the date of the buckle. the stitching thread has loose fibres on it not charcteristic of normal stitching, and like Ric and Ingo say, the stitching is way to clean for the condition of the buckle. Just MO of course

Looks odd, but if you clean a dirty tab with a lot of water, you get a very dry tab with super white stiching.

Most likely messed with, but restiched not sure indeed.

                Hello Alan,

I sincerely appreciate your availability for an inspection by handling, but it's not the Forum purpose : I'm sure the buyer will do it and up to him the final decision.
As for me I had to offer my contribution for confident dealings on e-stand.
Anyway the Forum members will be happy to offer their opinion, if you decide to post other buckles.

                Regards

                Ric

I agree with Simon's comment. if you clean a dirty tab with water, the result is a super dry tab, water stains on the tab and a stiching clean as the first day...
