Brus, this buckle type is not a fantasy, but was actually used as part of the uniform of the Flemish branch of the SS (SS-Vlaanderen). Of course, the one pictured is a bad fake.

When you look at all of the buckles from the link from Lampwick, you immediately see all are bogus, due to the used material(s). Not even mentioning the prices. But still there are people buying this stuff.
