Really strange buckle with EK1

I saw that one on an auction.This is really strange .I never saw buckle like this before.What do you think about this?

Fantasy piece.. EK 1 seems to be a one-piece reproduction

and fixed with a 10 Reichspfennig piece..
What a nice idea..
