36 buckle question

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows if the short time release of the 36 buckle with the eagle looking to the viewers left originally came with a leather tab as I have never seen one with it.

Hi Ric....Good question....I would lean towards the NO. I have never seen one with a tab either....I'd love to be proved wrong though - I'd love to see a pic of one with a tab...

Yes Rick, the very hard to find one piece (!) variant in nickle silver from Steinhauer & Lück has sometimes a tab.

Another nice one! I like the pebbled look of that one, maybe pig? looks like no markings.
