Hi guys....Man, got a nice haul of buckles in the last couple days....I'd like to show some of the harder to find examples. Here's the first - a nice pre TR police buckle. If anyone else has some like this type - please feel free to post pics as well!
I'd been waiting a while to find one like this. They certainly don't come up for sale often! Quite happy to have added this one to the collection!

A nice "flying eagle" Prussian Police buckle from the time of the Weimar Republic. There is a slightly earlier Weimar Prussian Police box buckle like this with a straight on eagle instead of the more active flying eagle. Of course the buckle you have evolved into the round Prussian Police buckle with the same eagle.

I know what you mean about those other two buckles. I only wish I could find that first pattern to add to my collection. Sven has some of the Prussian police buckles for sale....might have to look into that! heh heh heh!

Nice buckle. Thought I would show you my Prussian Police. The EM buckles 1st pattern are tough to find. The one piece brass Rural Police is extremely rare. This is the only one I have ever come across. Enjoy.
