Chad, I hate to be a pain but is there any chance of seeing any pics of the makers marks of the buckles you have on the list?

        Thanks

              M4 / 24 Stamped Belt Buckle?

              Hello,

I came across a WWI-era buckle stamped M4 / 24; I checked the forum and lists and did not see a maker with that designation. Anyone know if this may be real or a fake? Collecting WWI German buckles is a new interest for me, so if you need more information, let me know.

              Thanks,

              Daniel

Doesn't sound good IMO...I have yet to see any ww1 buckles with the TR 1930's M4 designation.
M4/24 is a maker that is commonly found on fakes.....I think that is what you're looking at: a repro...

                Cheers.
