Hi guys, could you have a look in your collections and see if you have any of the following maker marked buckles, especially Heer buckles. These are Heer buckles that I have never seen in books or websites etc (there are a couple that I have) I dont believe that these makers ever produced buckles even though they were allocated an M4 number. I just thought it would be interesting to see if anyone actually had any buckles by any of these makers. If you have any give me details via a PM and I will show what buckle was made by what maker. BTW I go on holiday for two weeks tomorrow so dont expect any amendments straight away. Many thanks for any help

I have attached my Gebr. Gloerfeld, but I think this is not the only example in this forum.

And here is an interesting example of a Klein u. Quenzer (was found in a bunker of the Maginot line):

Is it right that the contracting number M4/34 Nordwall & Welschehold stands also for the well known maker Dransfeld?

And I'm sure that Lind u. Meyrer and Frank & Reif produced aluminium Luftwaffe buckles, but I don't have any images at the moment.

Hey guys, for me this is fantastic, we have makers coming out of the wood work, and it gives me spirit in the fact that if they have made these buckles they have made Heer ones which means I can still keep looking. if you have more guys keep them coming if you can. many thanks to all who have send replies so far
