differently from JPhilip I suspect all the leather belt is a repro, but the catch : let's wait for more opinion about.

belt doesnt look good to me,it may have been a post war belt that had the wider catch fitted for the post war buckle then removed and a war period catch fitted just a guess but doesnt look period ww2 to me, rgds dave

honestly I dont think its a good belt - IMHO its a copy - look at this circles around size numbers...

its oiled to cover faker mystakes and age the belt.... not for my collection

I have to agree , fake belt !!! on top of that you have a RBnr# with a 1938 dated catch. The markings are fakes .
The buckle and the tab are 100% are it is actually a nice set.

I agree, belt is a fake

it's not possible bor belts with RBNr to have an alu hook signed on 38y.

leather looks bad too
